Interested in Working with a Student Doula? 

Kansas Birth Justice Society is connecting community members with students who are completing their doula training and need real-world experience supporting families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Doulas provide non-medical support. They do not deliver babies, provide prenatal care, diagnose conditions, or replace a doctor, midwife, nurse, or other healthcare professional.
Student doulas may provide emotional support, education, help preparing for birth, comfort measures during labor, advocacy support, and postpartum support

How does it work?
Fill out our interest form and tell us a little about yourself, what kind of support you’re looking for, and what you may be able to pay.
Kansas Birth Justice Society does not assign clients to students. We help create opportunities for interested community members and student doulas to connect. You and the student decide whether you’re a good fit and make your own arrangements for services.

Working with a student doula does not automatically mean services are free. Some students may offer complimentary support, while others may charge a reduced or agreed-upon fee. Any payment arrangement is made directly between you and the student doula.
